Casa W handpicks all our vintage rugs in Morocco and spends a lot of time choosing the right ones. All our rugs are unique and have lots of patina and soul - products with a story.

This Azilal runner has a good size that fits in many places. The colors are light with a pattern in the most delicious brown shades.

The vintage rugs are handwoven in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco – and typically come from the Beni MQuild, Boujaad, Azilal or Beni Ourain/Mamousha tribes. The rugs are made of 100 percent sheep wool that is naturally dyed and the beauty of the rugs is the color combination - a palette of muted shades that have faded over time. The rugs are full of beautiful shapes and symbolism. Each rug tells its own story, based on a strong tribal tradition and the weaver's story.

It is important to point out that since these rugs are often vintage and perhaps more than 50 years old, they will also show signs of age. There may be small holes or stains.
