Further information

The vintage rugs are handwoven in the middle Atlas Mountains in Morocco - and typically come from the Beni MQuild or Beni Ourain/Mamousha tribes. The rugs are made from 100 percent sheep's wool that is naturally dyed and the beauty of the rugs is the color combination - a palette of muted shades that have faded over time. The rugs are full of beautiful shapes and symbolism. Each individual rug tells its own story, based on a strong tribal tradition and the weaver's story.

It is important to point out that since these rugs are vintage and often more than 50 years old, they will also bear their mark thereafter. There may be small holes or stains.
