Unique products from Afghanistan

Casa W has been given the opportunity to sell a limited edition of beautiful handmade rugs and cushions from Afganistan. The products are designed by Rahim Walizada, who is behind branded Chuk Palu. 

Drawing inspiration from a variety of sources – from ancient calligraphy to textile design, from tribal motifs to geometric patterns, Chuk Palu rugs and cushions are produced in Afghanistan by local weavers who work from home or in small workshops.

Everything is handmade from start to finish - even the yarn is hand spun and the colors are all natural colours. The hallmark of both cushions and carpets is that the weavers use rough techniques that highlight the quality of the fibres.
